New Sheets!

Sheets for a King sized bed are so ridiculously overpriced.

I had a little extra money I could afford to play with, so I decided to get some new sheets for the bed. We only had one set, since we’ve only had the bed for a few months, so sheets were definitely needed.

I started looking around up town for cheap-ish sheet sets and just didn’t find anything. I could’ve fed my neighbors twice with some of the cash they wanted for these things.

Ebay time! I didn’t really find any sheets I particularly wanted to pay for either, so I kept browsing at full sets. The comforter I bought originally didn’t look the way I wanted to, nor was it as thick as I thought a comforter should be…I paid around $70 for just the comforter and a bed skirt. No sheets. But it’s a King, right? *eyeroll*
I found a few I liked, but still a little too pricey, and then I saw one that caught my eye! Now, less than $40 later, I own this prettiness (click for larger):

I love it so much! Shipping was super-fast too! After I bid, I noticed the seller has the comforter I already owned, which had me a little concerned about whether or not this set would be cheapish, since I wasn’t paying much. I messaged the seller and got a really quick, really honest response! They were pretty modest in their response, but I still decided to stick with it since I’d at least be getting the gold sheets, which for some reason, just called to me! I knew it couldn’t be any thinner than the comforter we already had, and I was paying almost half the price for twice the products! Anyway, the comforter came…and it’s just so fluffy! Ryan even commented on how comfy it was!

Needless to say, I’m more than pleased and I’ll be looking to Rarick’s Bargain Barn on Ebay first when I’m looking for bed stuff from now on!
